Watch Dr. Rose in “Unified Health Simplified: From Symptom Management to True Whole-Body Healing,” where she joins Dr. Bart Rademaker and other integrative practitioners to discuss root-cause healing, energy balance, nutrition, muscle testing, and the importance of restoring the body’s internal communication systems.

In this conversation, Dr. Rose shares how whole-body healing begins when we move beyond symptom management and learn to listen to what the body is truly asking for.

I want to start by thanking Dr. Bart for giving me the opportunity to be part of this conversation and to share my knowledge, my experiences, and the perspective I’ve gained along my own healing journey.

These kinds of discussions are important, because they help empower people to take ownership of their health.

That’s something I say to my patients all the time—I’m not here to just “give you a fish.” I want to teach you how to fish, so you can understand your body and support it long-term.

There’s a quote I’ve always resonated with that really captures this philosophy:

“The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.” – Thomas Anderson

To me, that says everything.

Introducing Dr. Rose Honor AP, DOM

Dr. Rose is a doctor of oriental medicine and integrative health practitioner who helps individuals restore balance by working at the intersection of structure, chemistry, and energy. With formal training in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and years of clinical experience, she brings both depth and precision to the healing process.

The architect of multi-dimensional healing, Dr. Honor integrates acupuncture, nutritional guidance, applied kinesiology, and advanced energetic therapies, approaching the body as a unified intelligent system rather than a collection of symptoms.

As the interpreter of the body’s intelligence through muscle testing and functional assessment, she listens to the body in real time, removing guesswork and allowing each treatment to be precisely aligned with what is most needed. In her sacred geometry, her work reflects the body as an interconnected field where structure, chemistry, and energy align to restore coherence. And coherence allows healing to emerge naturally.”

A Deeper Look Into My Approach to Healing

In this interview, I share more about how my journey from sickness to health shaped the way I practice today, and why I focus so deeply on addressing the root cause instead of just managing symptoms.

In my 20s, I was constantly ill. What started as chronic bronchitis led to long-term antibiotic use, which then created deeper imbalances in my body—candida, chronic fatigue, and a cycle of recurring infections that didn’t seem to have a real solution.

What I experienced firsthand is something many people go through: treatments that suppress symptoms without truly addressing what’s causing them.

That’s when I knew I had to take a different path.

Health Ownership Starts with the Basics

One of the first and most important changes I made was my diet.

I removed processed foods, sugar, and inflammatory ingredients, and shifted toward whole, nutrient-dense foods, like organic proteins, vegetables, healthy fats, and hydration.

It may sound simple, but this is where true health ownership begins.

I always remind my patients that taking ownership of your health means understanding that you can’t expect real results without changing poor dietary habits—what you put into your body every day matters.

From there, I began incorporating additional support, such as supplements, herbs, detoxification methods, and therapies that help the body restore balance naturally.

Why Root Cause Matters

A big part of my work today is helping patients understand the difference between symptom relief and true healing.

I often use a simple analogy:

If there’s a fire in your house and the alarm goes off, turning off the alarm doesn’t solve the problem. The fire is still there.

That’s what happens when we only treat symptoms.

The goal is to find what’s actually causing the imbalance—and address it at the source.

Understanding the Body as an Energy System

Through modalities like Applied Kinesiology (muscle testing), acupuncture, and energy-based therapies, I work with the body as an interconnected system.

Everything in the body communicates physically, chemically, and energetically.

When that communication is disrupted, whether from physical trauma, toxins, or emotional stress, it can create what I often describe as a “blockage” in the system.

These blockages can show up in many different ways:

  • Chronic pain
  • Hormonal imbalances
  • Fatigue
  • Digestive issues
  • Even long-standing conditions that don’t seem to have a clear cause

By identifying and clearing these disruptions, we allow the body to return to balance.

The Role of Allergies, Toxins & Hidden Stressors

Another area I focus on is how sensitivities and environmental stressors impact the body.

Many people think of allergies as just seasonal symptoms, but sensitivities can extend far beyond that. The body can react to foods, chemicals, metals, medications, and even past exposures that continue to affect health over time.

These responses can interfere with the body’s natural communication systems and contribute to long-term imbalances.

Through techniques like NAET and other integrative methods, I work to help the body reset and function more efficiently.

Healing Is Individual

One of the most important things I share in this conversation is that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing.

Every person’s body, history, and experiences are different.

That’s why I take a very detailed approach, looking at physical, chemical, and emotional stressors to understand what may be contributing to a patient’s current state of health.

Sometimes the root cause goes back years, even decades.

But once it’s identified, the body has an incredible ability to respond.

Working Together for True Healing

My role is to guide and support, but healing is something we do together.

It requires participation, awareness, and a willingness to make changes that support the body long-term.

Because at the end of the day:

Healing is a process, not an event.
